Address on enlistment 434 montrose avenue ,Toronto, Canada.

Enlisted 12th August 1915 into Royal Field artillery.

Arrived England on ss Scandinavian 3rd August 1915.

France 14th Dec 1915.

C battery 53rd brigade Royal Field Artillery 18th December 1915.

Served 3 years 4 months overseas .

7 days field punishment for neglecting to obey standing orders by galloping a horse 27th April 1916 .

Cambridge Military Hospital 30th March 1919 to 29th April 1919 gonorrhoea.

Military Medal awarded with x/9 medium trench Mortar Battery London Gazette 13th June 1919.

Demobbed June 1919 and living at 109 cardwell Street, edge hill ,Liverpool awaiting repatriation to Canada.

1921 Canada census 434 montrose Ave, Toronto.

He died 17th Dec 1986 .

Mounted for display some glue residue to rear of victory and star ( the ribbon bar has a mid oakleaf we can find no record of that award .
