John Reginald was born in 1897 to John & Mary in St Giles, Shrewsbury.

In 1911, he was living at 1 Brook Villa, Belle Vue in Shrewsbury and is noted to be an apprentice carpenter.

He served with both the 2nd and 7th Battalions of the South Lancashire Regiment.

Post war in 1921, we find him now living at14 Longden Road in Shrewsbury and working as a carpenter for William Edwards Building Contractor.

We believe he married Dorothy Hubbard in 1939.
