Arthur James Stockton was born c 1884 .

He entered gallipoli 23rd October 1915 with the 10th ( oldham) Battalion Manchester Regiment.

He also served as 376073 in same unit and was killed in action on 20th October 1918 In last weeks of the war .

Buried at belle Vue British cemetery, briastre.

His next of kin was his sister Mrs lillian Bennett of the bungalow, Kings field oval ,basford ,Stoke on trent .

He looks to have had two children in guardianship of his sister so possibly his wife predeceased him ? more research needed by purchaser.
