Named to 350260 pte j lister r highrs .

James was born 1st March 1897 at Lochgelly in Fife.

He served during ww1 in the Royal Highlanders ( blackwatch).

He was wounded on 4th September 1918.

He married Maggie mckenzie 9th June 1920 .

He died at Lochgelly in 1976 aged 79 .

 

There is some marking to surface of the victory medal .
