A ww1 pair with tatty boxes and  original paper envelopes .

Medals named 25526 pte l t allum d of corn li .

Lionel Thomas allum was born c1891 at St Nicholls,  Newbury in Berkshire.

1911 a hotel boot cleaner at George Hotel.

Enlisted at Windsor 7th February 1916 into 12th Duke of Cornwall light infantry.

Then attached to 3rd Somerset li.

Later transferred to 157 coy labour corp as 93603 .

Lived at 18 ena terrace , Russell Road,  Newbury,  Berks.

Died April 1920 .
