Frederick jackman was a gardener by occupation born 1882 at Tavistock in Devon.
1911 a gardener living at Leighton mills ,Plympton.
He served in 1st Battalion Devonshire Regiment.
He died of wounds 26th September 1916 at the time the Battalion were fighting around morval on the somme .
Frederick is buried at Grove Town cemetery.
His next of kin was his mother Elizabeth of 4 Wotton cottages ,egg Buckland, crown Hill, Devonshire.
