Leopold Walter chapple was born 16th August 1911 at Cardiff.
1938 working for the Cardiff postal service .
He was awarded the gsm with Palestine clasp in 1940 whist serving with 1st anti aircraft & searchlight battalion.
He was married in June 1943 at Glamorgan.
For his ww2 service he was awarded the above 3 medals in 1950 whist living at 27b windway Road, Victoria Park, Cardiff.
He died in South Glamorgan in 1995.
