William mooney was born 9th November 1881.
He served with 1st Battalion Kings Liverpool Regiment entered France 12th August 1914.
Noted as wounded 1th October 1915 .
1921 a sheeter by occupation living at 8 Mansfield Road, Liverpool working for the Lancashire and Yorkshire railway at bankfield and Canada Dock goods station ,Liverpool.
1939 a railway goods porter ( incapacitated) living at 74 juvenel St., Liverpool.
He died 30th January 1940 aged 58 at ministry of pensions hospital .
