Harry Rhodes was born 29th September 1887 at Old Woodhall ,England.

A salesman by occupation living In napier he enlisted 16th November 1915 .

Served in 1st Battalion Auckland infantry regiment ,new Zealand expeditionary force.

He was detached in March 1917 on railway construction duty .

Detached as batman 30th November 1917 to 24th December 1917 .

Also served with hq Staff egypt may 1916 presumably as a batman.

He died 28th March 1970 .
