He entered France 22nd September 1915 .
He lived Holborn.
Widow Mary lived 17 St Joseph’s flats, Drummond Crescent.
He was wounded during hostile air-raid in France.
And died of wounds 17th May 1918 .
He was attached to a searchlight unit so probably wounded when the enemy attached searchlights ? .
Star looks to have been gilded at some point .
