Willis served with the 2nd 6th battalion of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.

part of 182 brigade 61st ( 2nd soth midland division ).

The division proceeded to France 21st May 1916 .

He was killed in action 19th July 1916 aged just 19 years old .

And is buried at aubers Ridge cemetery.
