1 , 22214 able seaman Frank french Hood bn Royal naval division Royal naval volunteer Reserve died of wounds in 4th casualty clearing station 16th November 1916 buried puchevilliers cemetery, Formally served as g2970 Frank rueben French 2nd Royal West kent regt enlisted 8th September 1914 ran 4th June 1915 discovered serving in Royal naval division ( confessed as he was wanting to fight so was let off from punishment  ). Home address stepnetts cottage , blackham,  Sussex.  PLEASE NOTE ACCORDING TO RECORDS HIS MEDALS WERE NEVER ISSURED/ CLAIMED SO UNLIKELY THE PLAQUE WOULD HAVE BEEN .

Born 1886 a prewar regular who served in boerwar apparently the family home was bombed in ww2 by the luftwaffe.
