Ww1 pair named j 70612 j Hallows Ord rn, comes with flattened box and brown medal envelopes.

Original parchment certificate of service stating John Hallows s smiths sticker by occupation volunteered 15th May 1917 for duration of hostilities.

Original certificate of general efficency 80.5 % on Gunnery course & 85% field training both on hms comus.

Original protection and identity certificate dated 30th Jun 1919 confirming his bwm and victory 30th Jul 1923 and 25th February 1921 £3-/08 in Naval prize fund .

John Alexander Hallows was born 18th April 1899 at West kirby in Cheshire.

1911 a school newsboy living at 9 Albert Road,West kirby .

1939 a general labourer living 21 groveland Ave, Hoylake.

He died 1983 at West kirby .
