A ww1 victory medal on short tatty original ribbon named to.

dm2 112244 pte h friend asc .

There are 2 Harris friends that seemed to have served in ww1 the other lived in Huddersfield and served in the Royal garrison artillery so this chap certainly fits .

Harris friend born Holborn 14th October 1886 .

1921 living at 90 hadyn Park Road, shepherd’s Bush a printer by occupation.

1939 a printers reader and arp warden living at Ealing, middlesex.

Some loss of gilding as pictured .
