A very interesting group of 4 medals to a prewar flyer who served in the Royal Flying Corp pre ww1 .
ww1 pair on original ribbons named to Capt j w pepper .
ww2 defence and War Medals unnamed as issued.
miniature photo of John in uniform.
comes with a large archive of copy information of John’s service in both the rga and the fledgling Royal Flying corp .
sadly due to illness caused by Flying he returned to Royal garrison artillery ending up prior to ww2 as a lieutenant colonel and served as such in ww2.
During ww1 he served in Macedonia from 27th June 1916 .
