A very nice territorial group of medals and ephemera relating to 811272 Gunner Arthur Francis George Dann of the 104th Royal horse artillery ( Essex Yeomanry).

Arthur was born 20th June 1912 .

He lived at 22 firsgrove Road, Brentwood, Essex.

1939 star, Africa Star and War Medal unnamed as issued.

Efficiency Medal with loose extra long service clasp named 811272 gnr a f g dann ra .

Medal box to above address confirming the 3 ww2 awards .

Box with 2 letters for award of 1st clasp to em ( t) dated 18th March 1948 .

A photo in uniform ,a boxed Kings badge .

His release book stating he was a factory worker in civilian life whose last enlistment was 5th September 1939 and at time of discharge in 1946 he was a technician with 18th battalion raoc ( ra field ).

He was captured a prisoner of war at cyrenaica ( Libya) 8th April 1941 at the time his unit were defending tobruk.

A nice complete group to a very desirable unit.
