Correctly named 10387 Pte GO Kenyon HAC Inf

Gerard Orford Kenyon was born to James in Mary in 1880 in possibly Walton or Anfield.

James was a cotton salesman/broker, a trade which Gerard followed also.

Gerard married Rachel Zoe Walker in 1908. In 1911, we see Gerard, Rachel and children living at 17 De Villiers Avenue, Great Crosby.

Gerard enlisted into the 1st Bn HAC in 1917 and served in France and is entitled to a WWI pair.

In the 1921 electoral roll, we see Gerard and Rachel to now be living at 7 Chestnut Avenue, Great Crosby.

Gerard died in 1938.

The medal has an original silk ribbon albeit faded.
