BWM correctly named 4966 Pte JP Stockwell L’Pool R

James Peers Stockwell was born in Toxteth Park, Lancashire in 1896 to Walter and Clara.

Upon enlistment, he was working as a traffic clerk and living at 106 Belgrave Road Liverpool.

He served with the 2/6th Rifle Battalion and is entitled to a Pair.

He married Ruth Olive Parr in 1925.

At the time of his death in 1969, he was living at 344 Aigburgh Road, Lancashire.

Included is the transmittal box lid (flattened). Medal on original silk ribbon.

Defence Medal unnamed as issued to Edward Jamieson Stockwell. Born in 1903.  He married Florence May Jones in 1925. We find him in 1939 as an estate agent/surveyor living at 35 Cambridge Rd, Crosby. Unsure of his WWII role. He died in 1981.

Medal comes with its original ribbon including the transmittal box.
