Correctly named 50945 Pte JO Johnson N Staff R

John Oxendale Johnson was born to Oxendale and Elizabeth in November 1885 in Scarborough.

We find the family in 1911 living at 45 James Street in Scarborough and James is working as a beer brewers bottler.

He served with the 8th Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment and the Pair is his full entitlement.

In 1921, we see him married to Minnie and living at 37 Elmville Avenue in Scarborough and now working for Learborough Gas Company as a labourer.

Research tells us that he got married again in 1941 to Violet Woodhall.

John died in 1974.

The medals are swing mounted as worn on a clasp and original silk ribbons.
