Correctly named 132210 Gnr E O’Connor RA

Edward was born to Peter and Annie in Monks Coppenhall, Cheshire in 1891.

We see in 1911, he is living at 22 Samuel Street in Cheshire and working as an acountants clerk.

He enlisted for service in October 1915 and was sent to France as a Colonels servant between June 1918 and January 1919.
He was attached to the Royal Engineers Anti Aircraft Defences.

His service papers survive and we see an address for him there noted as 46 West Derby Road, Liverpool.

He married Elizabeth Hough in 1929.

Edward died in 1962, living at the time at 5 Woodlands Avenue in Crewe.

Both medals have original silk ribbon.
