Imperial Service Medal correctly named William Bartrum.

William Bartrum was born in Wortham, Suffolk to Jacob and Sarah in 1887.
We find William in 1911 working as a rural postman and living at 11 Lumley Road, Horley, Suffolk.

He served with the VI Cyclist Corps Battalion as part of the London District Cyclists. He also held the service number 13655 with the ACC.

He married Beatrice Lucy Podd in 1919.

He was awarded his Imperial Service Medal in 1947. LG date 13/5/1947 as a postman in Brighton.

William died in 1950.

All medals have original silk ribbons.
