Alfred Henry was born to Alfred and Mary in 1888 in Chailey, Sussex.
In 1911, we find him living at Redhill Farm, Dyke Road, Patcham, Brighton working as a cowman.
He married Alice Blanche Spooner in 1914.
He enlisted in 1916.
After the war, we find him living at 27 Ham Road, Shoreham by Sea working for J Brown & Son, Haulage Contractors/ Ship Brokers & Coal Merchants where he held the post of contractors carman.
He is seen to be at the same address in 1939, working now as a groundsman as well as serving in the Auxiliary Fire Service.
Alfred died in 1970.
