Thomas Charles was born in Limerick, Republic of Ireland c/1879
He married Clara Nightingale in Carnaby, London in 1902.
In 1911, we find him working as a milk carrier and living with his family at 80 Ansdell Road in Peckham.
Enlisting for service in August 1918, he served with the 371 Labour Corps.
He was posted to France in August 1918 where he transferred to 191 Labour Corps.
By the time of his discharge in 1919, he was serving with 114 Labour Corps.
Thomas died in 1965, Lewisham.
The medal has a short original silk ribbon.
