Correctly named 14708 Pte F Hall Sco Rif

Frank/Francis was born in 1890.

He served with the 1st company of the 11th Battalion Scottish Rifles (Cameronians)

He went overseas to France in September 1915 earning a 1915 Trio.

We find a wound report for him dated September 1918 with a note that he was wounded in the face by shrapnel.

He was transferred to the 615th Labour Corps with the service number 486494.

With the Labour Company, he was attached to the 1st Turkish Prisoner of War Compound.

The medal has an original silk ribbon.
