A WWII Soldiers Service and Paybook along with a group of 4 unnamed WWII medals. 1939/45 Star, Italy Star, Defence and War Medals.

Thomas James Fletcher was born in 1916 to Thomas and Emily. They are seen to be living at 50 Medhurst St, Grove Rd, Bow, London in 1921 and are still there in 1939 where we see Thomas working as a wood machinist and also an ARP stretcher bearer.

He enlisted into the Royal Army Service Corps in October 1941 and he served in the North African theatre from November 1943. He arrived too late to be awarded an Africa Star. Its possible he served in the Yugoslavian Theatre possibly ending his war in Austria? We see he was a clerk with the Royal Army Ordnance Corps in late 1943

He was discharged in April 1946.
