WWII grouping awarded to 2158898 Thomas Percival Talbot Faulkner.
Born in 1922 to Thomas and Tarbenia in Bristol.
Thomas served in the Royal Engineers from 23/4/42 till 28/10/43 then serving in the Corps of Military Police from 43 till 47, serving in Italy and North Africa.
WWII medal cards confirm the award of the four WWII medals with the clasp for the Africa Star.
All details held in his Release book and other documents found in the group. It would also appear that Faulkner did long service in the Special Constabulary, details included in a letter dated 1979 from the Avon Police informing him that retirement is usually at age 55 but his next review will be on his 59th birthday when his situation will be decided. The mounted medals are all in very nice condition with the Queen Elizabeth ”SC” medal having Faulkners details and his 1980 dated long service bar.
Included in the lot is Thomas’s birth certificate, his certificate of service, slip for transfer to Army Reserve, four Lance Corporal stripes as well as his release book.
