He died of wounds 30th April 1915 aged just 23 years old .
His widow Alice maud remarried 29th July 1916 to Vernon Allen a Stoker In Royal Navy.
His parents John and Emma head lived at 26 Brompton Lane, Strood, Rochester, Kent.
