Arthur Frederick whiffen born 24th April 1896 at bexley I Kent.

Joined royal navy as boy sailor December 1912 .

Served on minelayer hms andromache October 1913 to March 1915 .

Hms Juno may 1915 to November 1916 .

In hospital at Alexandria in November 1916 then evacuated to England on board hmhs hospital ship neuralia same month .

Hms Juno was in port in Ireland on day lusitania sank .

Arthur was I 1921 a driller iron and steel at 80 woodpecker Road, Deptford.

He sadly died October 1923 .
