1809097 Gunner Robert Henry Ramsey of 48th light anti aircraft regiment Royal Artillery was acting as a dispatch rider with his unit in the Dutch East indies when he was killed in action on 12th March 1942 ,he is buried at Jakarta war cemetery.

Born c1921 at Swindon in Wiltshire his family were living at Hadfield, Manchester, Lancashire at time of his death aged 21 years old, he was initially buried at tea plantation tjekhdtang? java according to accompanying printed out record .
