2 1861 dated glass photos of George bayly one in military uniform looks hand coloured the other black and white in gilt frames .
His original king William iv signed commission scroll into 44th regiment dated 1830.
Original Queen Victoria signed commission scroll as captain dated 1846 in the 35th regiment.
Original statement of services for captain George bayly starting as an ensign without purchase in 44th regiment 10th February 1825 to captain ( unattached) 25th June 1852 by removal to be a staff officer of pensioners , his children were born in Mauritius, and Dublin where he was stationed at various times .
An original court of probate certificate stating George bayly late of Town of Woolwich in Kent brevet major and staff officer of pensioners died 11th September 1865 .
Brevet major George bayly born 4th June 1807 at Cumberland.
Married Eliza Sophia savage at Port Louis ,Mauritius 26th July 1842 .
Died aged 58 years at Woolwich.
