Correctly named 11801 Pte J McManus R Innis Fus
James was born in 1880 and address found for him is noted as 9 Queen Street, Enniskillen, Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
He served with the 6th Battalion and landed at Suvla Bay on the 11th of July 1915 earning himself the 1915 Star Trio.
The 6th were straight into action and were attacking Chocolate Hill on the 7th and 8th.
They were withdrawn from the campaign in sent to Salonika in October 1915 and onto France in May 1918.
They ended their War after the Pursuit to the Selle and Advance on Picardy and were at rest at Solre Le Chateau when the Armisctice was called.
Records show he also held the service number 6972278 with the Inniskilling Fusiliers as well as 8279 with the 13th Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers.
He was discharged in November 1924.
