Peter served with the 1st/7th Lancashire Fusiliers, he entered the Balkans on 23rd July 1915Â being KIA killed in action at Gallipoli on 8th August 1915
His brother Samuel Jones Memorial Plaque,
Samuel served with the 16th (2nd Birkenhead Bantams) Battalion Cheshire Regiment
He served under service number 40305
