John Burnell Parsons was born in Otterhampton, Somerset in 1888 to William and Elizabeth.
He enlisted for service in 1907.
He was to die from enteric disease whilst serving aboard HMS Comet on the 17th of June 1915.
HMS Comet went onto excel and was involved in a VC Action.
John is remembered at Basra War Cemetery.
At the time of his death, his parents were running the Post Office at Combwich, Bridgewater, Somerset.
A great lot which includes his scroll, the boxes for his NGSM, 15 Star and Pair.
Also, the Admiralty letter which came with his Pair and two enveloped addressed to parents.
All the medals have original silk ribbons and the medals are in mint untouched condition.
An excellent addition to any collection.
