Thomas James was born to Catherine Clegg and his Silver War Badge records state he was 37 in 1918.

He hailed from the Maryhill area of Glasgow and an address we found is 11 Bute Street, Maryhill, Glasgow.

Believed to have joined his unit in France in October 1917. He is entitled to a Pair.

He also held the service number 7810682 with the MGC.

He was wounded in April 1918 from the effects of gas.

He served from November 1915 until his discharge as ‘no longer fit for service’ in December 1918.

He married Annabella McMillan in 1921.

He died in 1984.
