Edward Ernest brider was a contractors clerk by occupation living at 22 Alma Rd, Southampton.

He joined May 1916 the Hampshire regiment.

Served India July 1916 to May 1918 and was infected with pulmonary tb whist serving there .

Was serving as 206392 in Bedfordshire regiment .

He returned home and was discharged July 1918 sadly he died of tb 5th November 1918 less than a week before the Armistice. l
