A ww1 victory on long original ribbon named se 7711 a sjt p Patrick avc .

Peter William Patrick was born 30th June 1875 at Portsmouth ( his father was a soldier serving in various locations though he died in Fife lunatic asylum shortly after Peters birth ) .

1901 Scottish census shows Patrick living at station Rd, Thornton a border and a coal miner by occupation.

He entered France 30th June 1915 and was discharged 20th January 1919 with dist phalanx of thumb ,index ,middle finger rt hand gone according to the pension index card as read ,he was living at main St, Thornton, fifeshire on discharge

He died at Fife 9th November 1938 and is buried with his wife and their son Patrick.
