Lieutenant Colonel William Arthur rosebery spong mb ramc was born 11th April 1883 at Toxteth Park, Liverpool.
He studied at trinity college, Dublin.
joined the freemasons at mcmahon Lodge, quetta , India.
Served ww1 and after in India.
1922 he was deputy assistant of medical services ramc , Southern command ,central provinces District, mhow.
1935 awarded the Silver Jubilee medal as lieutenant colonel Indian service .
He ran a military hospital after the outbreak of ww2 and died after a short illness 22nd November 1940 and is buried at Tidworth military cemetery in Wiltshire.
