Henry cade was born at orillia in Canada.

He was married to pearl cade who lived at 111 Sherborne Street, Toronto.

He ws a member of the 48th Highlanders ( Militia) when he enlisted into the 35th infantry battalion Canadian expeditionary force In June 1915.

He embarked for England for service with the 20th Central ontario regiment .

After entering France he was attached to 4th field company Canadian engineers .

Between September and December 1916 he suffered from various ailments each time being seen by the 5th Canadian field ambulance inc diarrhoea, trench fever, rheumatism and influenza.

He was send to England in December 1916 with pyrexia and rheumatism.

Upon discharge he was sent home to Canada on board the Empress of Britain.

He died 20th September 1952 .
