Edward was born c1882 and enlisted aged 34 in 1916. He was working as a printers warehouseman at that time. We find two addresses for him, pre-war he lived at 94 Radcliffe Bridge and post war at 59 Endell St, Bloomsbury, London.

He is reported wounded and was shot in the right leg on or about the 16th of June 1917 when the Battalion were based at Arras.

We transferred to the Army Service Corps with the service number T/420042 in June 1918.

Both medals are on original silk ribbons.
