Correctly named 118286 A McNeish Sto2 RN
Born in 1895, Archibald, a miner from Kilwinning, enlisted into the Royal Navy and first served on Victory II in June 1918. He served at HMS Vernon, the torpedo school based at Portsmouth and later served on HMS Dido, the depot ship for the 10th Destroyer Flotilla. He ended up transferring to the Royal Fleet Reserve in 1920.
