Fred brunskill was born c1897 at Etherley, bishops Auckland, Co Durham.

1911 living higher Etherley, bishops Auckland.

He served in 1st 6th battalion Durham light infantry.

He was initially noted as missing later altered to killed in action at the attack on the butte de walencourt 5th November 1916 during the battle of the Somme.

His mother lived at benton cottages ,High Etherley, bishops Auckland.

He was aged 19 years old.
