William Alfred Wills Densum was born 20th May 1892 at Strete, Blackawton in Devonshire.
1911 living at 20 high Park terrace, colley end , Paignton an assistant grocer in the family business .
He enlisted in Royal marine light infantry 10th december 1913 at Bridgewater in Somerset.
He served as part of the Royal Marine battalion in Royal naval division February 1917 until February 1919 address given as 50 halesleigh Road, Bridgewater, Somerset.
His obituary in newspaper says he was a prisoner of war though that needs more research.
in 1930s he is in the newspaper as charged with drink driving whist a grocer at St augustine St, Taunton.
He is at same address in 1939 still a grocer .
He died aged 71 at home at Ashley House, 51 Wellington Road, Taunton, he is noted as serving in 1914 war in Royal marines and a prisoner of war .
