Entered France with 11th battalion Cheshire Regiment 25th September 1915.
Noted as suffering with dental caries 22nd Feb 1916 and wounded 2nd October 1916 .
Also served as sapper wr265554 & 239720 in Royal engineers.
On discharge living at 41 Mill Lane, liscard , Cheshire.
1921 a fitters labourer for the wallasey corporation tramway living at 60 rappert Road.
