Robert Hope Hart was born in Kansas City in February 1888.

We see from his papers that he was a salesman and married to Anna at the time of his enlistment in July 1917.

He attested in Winnipeg.

An address found for him is 232Oak Grove, Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA.

He served with the 100th Battalion and is entitled to a Pair although a late entrant to the theatre of France.

We were lucky whilst undertaking research to find an image of Robert online.

The medal has an original silk ribbon.
