Correctly named 22709 Pte JH Crooks E York R

Born circa 1888

John served with the 2nd Battalion, D Company.

He suffered from recrudescence of malaria which saw him hospitalised in March 1917 after 8 months in the field.

The 2nd Battalion served in Salonika.

The Pair being his full entitlement.

Both medals have original silk ribbon.
