Thomas hailed from Gateshead and we find an address for him as 14 Back Hoppers Street.
He served with the 2nd Bn, 3rd Reserve Bn and the 8th & 9th Battalions. He rose to the rank of AWO II.
A wound report is raised for him dated 4/1/1917. He was discharged in the June of 1917.
