WWII medals unnamed as issued.

KGV Efficiency medal correctly named 753749 WO CLII E Davies RA.

Edwin, or some papers have him as Edward was born in 1898.

He served as 252572 with the 11th Battalion Manchester Regiment in WWI and went overseas to France in March 1915 earning himself a 1915 Star Trio (not present)

He also served as 1893 in the 7th Battalion Liverpool Regiment. Records tell us he was wounded in late 1917 and his next of kin were living in Crossley. He served for 5 years.

He attested to the Royal Artillery in 1923 aged 25 and his address at this time was 14 Snowdrop Street, Kirkdale.

We see he married Eleanor Florence Cutts in 1923 and at that time, Edwin was a tram conductor.

He is confirmed on rolls for receiving the 1937 Coronation Medal.

He served with the Coastal Defences/Anti Aircraft batteries in the Royal Artillery and we see him discharges as no longer fit in April 1942.

All the medals have original silk ribbons.
