A ww1 1915 trio on long original ribbons named to 12153 pte s h millin glouc r.

Stephen Henry millin was born at Stratton / Cricklade in Wiltshire on 23rd Jan 1898.

1911 living at calmsden, North Cerney, nr cirencester in Gloucestershire a school boy .

He entered France 18th July 1915 aged 17 serving with d company of 2nd 5th battalion Gloucestershire regiment.

Wounded 25th September 1917 .

Noted as missing 13th March 1918 he was captured at holnon Wood and became a POW of the Germans.

1939 he was a chauffeur/mechanic living at Eastbourne in Sussex.

He died June 1965 in Bedfordshire.
