Born Cecil George Leonard Bineham 25th February 1889 at Devonport he was a boilermaker by occupation.

Enlisted 11th November 1913.

Served

Hms amphitite 2nd August 1914 to 21st June 1915 .( part of 9th Cruiser Squadron in Atlantic).

Hms Revenge 1st February 1916 to 25th March 1920 so would have been present when she took part in battle of jutland where Revenge scored hits on German naval ships .
