Ww1 British War Medal on short original ribbon named to 315372 pte h Hall Monmouth r.
Harry Hall served with 2nd Batt Monmouthshire regiment who served as a pioneer battalion with 29th division.
He was captured at armentieres 2nd April 1918 .
Noted as missing by the British 18th June 1918 and confirmed a pow by the German government in November 1918 it must have been a worrying time for his family not knowing his fate .
He was noted as former pow now returned to England in January 1919 he was discharged with 40% disablement due to a gunshot wound in his chest .
He lived at 11 Emerson Street, Weaste in Lancashire.
He is also entitled to a ww1 victory medal whereabouts unknown.
